Testosterone Cypionate (Long-acting esterified testosterone (injectable)) is a Testosterone cypionate ester — C₂₇H₄₀O₃, MW 412.6. Esterified testosterone hydrolysed to free testosterone after intramuscular injection (peak ~1–3 days, active ~2 weeks). Free testosterone activates the androgen receptor (AR) producing anabolic effects in muscle, bone, and CNS. Aromatases to oestradiol via CYP19A1 — both AR and ERα/β signalling.
